If a subscription payment fails (for example, if the user's credit card is declined,) Odeum uses the following retries 3 times:
- 3 days after the original attempt
- 5 days after the previous attempt
- 7 days after the previous attempt
Odeum will email your subscriber to notify them of a failed payment attempt, including the amount and card used. Their subscription is put in suspended status until the 3 retries have been made. After the third attempt fails, the subscription is cancelled.
If a user tries to login while their account is suspended, they will see a notification bar at the top of the screen that tells them they need to update their payment method to be able to view content.
