How to get app reviews in all of the app stores

Reviews affect how visible you are in app store search results and how likely you will be featured on the app store.

Having positive reviews from friends and family will help, but getting your subscribers to review can give your app a ranking boost.

Using the Email Communications feature in your Dashboard is a great way to ask your subscribers to leave a review. You could even send them instructions on how to do so to make it easier for them.

Listed below are the instructions on how to leave a review in each app store.

You must have downloaded the App before you can write a review.

Apple App Store:

  1. On your Apple device, open the Apple App Store.

  2. Browse or search for the app you want to review

  3. Open the details page

  4. Tap on Reviews

  5. Tap on Write a Review.

  6. Press submit.

Google Play:

  1. On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app .

  2. Browse or search for the app you want to review.

  3. Find and select the app to open the detail page.

  4. Scroll until you get to the reviews section.

  5. Select the number of stars. You can also tap Write a Review.

  6. Follow the onscreen instructions to write a review and add details.

  7. Press submit.

Amazon:

  1. Open the Amazon app from your device or bring up www.Amazon.com in your web browser.

  2. Use the drop down menu on the search bar to select Apps & Games.

  3. Browse or search for the app you want to review.

  4. Find and select the app to open the detail page.

  5. Scroll until you get to Review this product.

  6. Click on write a customer review.

  7. Select the number of stars.

  8. Add a Headline and a review. Press submit.

Roku:

1. Open the Roku app on your device or launch channelstore.roku.com in your

browser.

2. Browse or search for the app you want to review.

3. Select the icon and hit the star button rating of your choice.

4. There is not a place for a written review on Roku.
