Coupon Codes are a great way to drive sales to the most cost-effective platform for you - your Odeum-powered website. Use Coupon Codes to attract new customers and entice people to try out your channel before they subscribe at full price. It's an incentive to join, which benefits both the subscriber and the publisher.
* Coupon Codes are only supported on your Odeum website. The app stores do not support Odeum Coupon Codes.
How to make a Coupon Code:
In your Odeum dashboard under Promote and Communicate you will find the Coupon Code section.
Once in there you are provided with parameters you can set for each coupon you create. Press "Add Coupon Code" to set those parameters.
Name: Only used to help you identify this coupon in the system.
Code: This is the code the subscriber types in. We recommend alpha-numeric codes without spaces. Case does not apply (ie: happy is the same code as HAPPY)
Valid From: The coupon code will be valid from 12:00AM to 11:59PM on the dates selected above in your timezone.
Expires After: The date you would like the coupon to expire.
Allowed Uses: This is the total number of times this coupon may be used. ie: If you want to limit the usage to the first 100 people who sign up, use "100" here.
Type: $ Discount = Dollar amount off ($5 off)
% Discount = Percentage off (25% off)
Free = A free subscription (Still subject to Odeum monthly subscriber fees)
Change Free Trial = Extend a free trial for a current new subscriber.
Use/Placement: An optional note for organizational purposes.
Discount: The actual dollar/percentage off you would like to offer.
Applied to Plan: Choose which plan this coupon applies to (monthly, annual, etc...)
Duration: Once = Discount will be applied only to the first billing cycle.
Repeats = Discount will be applied for the specified number of billing cycles.
Forever = Discount will be applied every billing cycle.
*NEW - Direct Link: You now have the ability to have a direct link to the signup page with a coupon code already auto-applied.
How to create a Promotional Banner:
The Promotional Banner is a perfect place to advertise your coupon codes or anything else you would like to promote. This is a static banner that is only seen on the top of the Marketing and Subscriber homepages of your Odeum website.
In your Odeum dashboard under Promote and Communicate you will find the Promotional Banner section.
Once in there you are provided with parameters you can set for each promo you create. Press "Add Promotional Banner" to set those parameters.
Name: Only used to help you identify this banner in the system.
Color: The color of the banner. Darker colors recommended for the light text.
Start Date: The first date this banner can start appearing.
End Date: The last date this banner can be shown.
Message: The text that is displayed in the banner.
